The Selection Process

VISIBILITY ...

If we don't see you or know who you are, we encourage you to make some noise. The Super16 All-Star Power Team has provided multiple avenues for athletes to be seen and noticed. We strive to gather all of the information possible to make sound selections in making this event one of the best in the country.

1. ATTEND A COMBINE

There are multiple combines to evaluate talent. We have developed an evaluation process that will assist our evaluators in determining the best of the best. Any eligible athlete can attend as many combines as needed to impress our evaluators.

NOTE:

- Attending a combine (or more) increases your chance of being selected
- All S16 All-Stars are not selected from combines alone

2. BASKETBALL GAMES

Whether its school ball or AAU ball, you may see a Super16 representative observing your game. Just like any athletic event, you never know who's watching. Our team of evaluators will be able to see team players, team leaders and those performing at a level above average.  You will be approached and possibly invited to a combine for further evaluation.

3. CREDIBLE SOURCES

We have an intimate circle of credible coaches and colleagues that will provide information on "recommended" players. We investigate all leads and may invite them to a combine to see them compete in person. We will also view game-film and/or highlights to validate each recommendation. If no proof can be provided, we will move on to the next recommendation if they cannot attend a combine.

SUPER16 ALL-STAR TEAMS

Once we have all candidates in front of us, we carefully choose boys and girls that exemplify All-Star status.

After the Invite-Only "FINAL COMBINE", parents will be notified via email with a welcome letter and a "Selected" graphic for athletes to display on social media.

FAN-FAVE ALL-STAR TEAMS

We have a ton of talent in Oklahoma and we know that 20 spots won't cover it all. If by chance you are not selected as a S16 All-Star, there is still an opportunity to play in the Fan-Fave All-Star Game.

If you accept, your athlete will be placed on an online voting ballot and your friends and family can vote as many times as they want for their favorite athlete within a certain time period.

The top 20 vote-getters will play in the Fan-Fave All-Star Games.

Good luck and we look forward to hearing from you!
